A.gif (1176 bytes)strict selection process ensures that only the most highly qualified, classically trained American and European instructors become Tex-Over Farms staff members. They must adhere to proven techniques and principles of classical teaching and riding while stressing rules of safe horsemanship and good sportsmanship.

The talented staff is headed by Jo Hancock, who has been certified by the British Horse Society. She holds numerous awards from the British Show Jumping Association and B.H.S. Horse Trials. Jo has traveled throughout Europe with Olympic Dressage horses and competed Open and Grand Prix Jumpers in the United Arab Emirates. In addition to her expertise, Jo has an engaging personality which makes hobby riders and serious competitors of all ages and abilities feel equally at ease.

MariLynne Zborowski has been riding since she was four when she was given her first pony, Butterscotch. She started out riding barrels and western before discovering and falling in love with jumping and English riding when she was seven. She has been doing both ever since. MariLynne studied at the University of Arizona in Tucson where she majored in Animal Science, emphasis in Equine Science, before she moved to Houston and became an important member of the Tex-Over teaching staff. MariLynne continues to improve on her riding skills by taking lessons from and particiapating in clinics by many leading teachers of the sport today. MariLynne is great with students of all ages, but she is especially good with children where her love of horses and the sport of riding, and her ability to teach and give confidence to her riders shine.

All Tex-Over instructors strive to meet the needs and aspirations of both children and adults, from beginners to advanced riders.  Jo, MariLynne, and Heike delight in teaching riders to achieve their best, while still having great fun along the way.
